Hi there campers,
While this blog is in paralysis due to my being swamped by building certification requirements and a lack of vignette opportunities, I do have another blog on the go.
"Coffee, Grace and the Word" was put together for the bible study group I lead. It occurred to me this morning that if you aren't currently in a study due to time, distance, circumstance etc this might be something that you might enjoy. If you'd like to join in online - feel free! You can just pop on anytime you like and see which page of the work book we're up to. There's a free workbook PDF available to download which you can print out or just read online. Go at your own pace, start at the beginning or catch up to us, start a conversation if you like - it's all up to you:)
Our current study is called "Extreme Identity Makeover". We're taking the whole year to weave our way through it. Although the study calls for daily input and writing, in this season of our lives {we all have young children}, we're taking our time and taking a month to do each week. Yay! The other reason is that it is such an amazing study, that we have found that we've needed this time to truly meditate on each element.
We don't always agree with every aspect of this study - which we feel is a good thing! A bit of hearty debate is wonderful for our growth.
There's also some general links on the blog, not connected to the study, which I hope will provide encouragement, diversion and information.
I called the blog "Coffee, Grace and the Word" because that's my standard line when asked how I get through the day. {I should probably also add Lindt balls and sourdough, but that's not nearly as noble is it?}
Love you more than a toasted panini with marinated mushrooms, rocket and parmesan,
Meredy xo
